I'M KATIE, THE PHOTOGRAPHER BEHIND CAPTURED BY KDW

A few things about me - I’m a Fujifilm girl through and through, I wear far too much black, I’m completely cat obsessed and I’ve recently become slightly addicted to padel.

I shoot Fujifilm because I absolutely love the colours and the way they bring a softness and richness to an image. That, mixed with my fashion background, has definitely shaped the way I photograph weddings. I’m always drawn to beautiful styling, thoughtful details, great outfits and those effortless little moments that somehow end up becoming some of your favourites.

I’m also a recent bride myself, so I know first-hand how much thought, time and emotion goes into planning a wedding - and how surreal it feels when the day you’ve been talking about for months finally arrives.

On the day, I’ll be there for much more than just the photographs. Expect hype girl energy, a calming presence when you need it, someone to fix the dress, keep things relaxed and make sure you never feel awkward in front of the camera.
